The certification body within the Public Institution „Central testing laboratory of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and canned products” operates in accordance with the requirements of the standard SM EN ISO/CEI 17065:2013 „Conformity assessment. Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services”.
Products certification is carried out in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the documents indicated in The list of normative acts.
Within the CB, a management system is implemented and maintained, which includes internal Policy (jpg), regulations, quality manual, operational procedures, working instructions, etc.
CB provides access to the certification services to all applicants interested in product certification, according to the field of competence.
The organizational structure of the CB guarantees the impartiality, confidentiality and independence in the activity of certification of products, as well as decision-making regarding certification.
The field of activity of the CB is the certification of the products mentioned in the fields of accreditation and recognition. The CB carries out the certification of the local and imported 
products, according to the requirements of the legislation in force, technical regulations, national standards and other documents applicable to the products. The same rules are applied for the certification of the local and imported products, and the official publications of the normative documents in force are used.
The certification body holds the The list of standards of CB, which is available to the staff involved in the certification activities. The certification schemes are applied taking into account the specificity of the product manufacturing process, supplying and use of the concrete products and the possible risks, the necessary level of argumentation, as well as the spectrum of the tests performed by the institution.
Impartiality of the Certification Body within the I.P. “LCTBANPC” and the competence of the staff is confirmed by the accreditation of the body to the requirements of the standard SM EN ISO/CEI 17065:2013.
